Update Backdoor Rules (Denyable towers)

change old Backdoor rules:

Source code

1
2
3
4.1 Creep skipping/backdooring is forbidden. This means you are not allowed to attack towers or other buildings without creep support.
4.2 "Creep support" means that the tower is in range of attacking creeps - even if the creeps do not choose to attack the tower or vice versa. You do not have to cancel your attack if all creeps are dead.
4.3 You are allowed to attack any building in enemy base if there are friendly creeps in the base when you entered. You do not have to leave/stop attacking if all creeps are dead. E.g - creeps enter the top entrance of base and start attacking the tower/barracks. You can enter the base by any entrance and attack any building as long as you entered while creeps were in the base. You may stay as long as you want.

to this:

Source code

8
4.1 Backdooring: You are not allowed to attack any tower on the map without creepsupport.
4.2 You have to enter the base with creeps but they dont have to be in the same line as you. As soon as creeps enters the base, the complete base is allowed to be destroyed.
As long as there were creeps in base when you entered, you are allowed to keep attacking even if they die. If you leave the base at this moment you need to have new creeps in the next attack.
4.3 If a tower is denyable (below 10% HP) and is not a base tower, backdooring rules do not apply.

DEFINITIONS :
Creeps "Enter the base" when they are upslope on their way into the base.
Creepsupport : The creeps are within 600 Range

SOURCE:
IHCS rules, minor changes to fit on DL

Reason why i want a change:
1)its unclear if a tower can be attacked when a enemy tries to deny it.
2)most ppl do it already.
3)it is dumb not to change it.
4)all other leagues/turnaments have changed their rules already to make it clear.

discuss, or better change it :D

Actually I believe the new rules to be very clear, and rarely see anyone breaking them, at least not in V.I.P.

And even if some1 break the rules, just make a support. The admins will fix it fast, they have gotten very active lately ^^.

Concerning the deniable tower, the rules are very clear... You are never allowed to attack the tower, eventhough it is being denied. If you do not like this rule, simply play so the tower can't easily be denied (= denied when where are no enemies).

Well , you can't kill 11% hp tower but you can 10% ? that seems a bit odd. Rules are ok.

Actually i like the "old" rule better than your suggestion. Adds some nice teamfights to the game at least imho.

i like the old rule more. also you have to pay attention when you see that they are deniable(what can only happen when creeps are near 90% in towerrange) so attack the tower. and i think with the other rule there will be more supports because
first: the opponent team will think its backdoor because they dont see how much hp the tower got when he starts attacking.
second: much tower with abit more hp (11%) will get destroyed because the player are too lazy to watch closely how much hp the tower got
third: the old rule work and most of the player know them and follow them. many backdoors happens only because the players dont pay attention.
That's mankind for you. If you set up a switch in a distant cave in an empty desert with a sign on it reading "End of the World Switch. DO NOT TOUCH!", the paint wouldn't even have the time to dry.
