You are looking for a league with a lot of noobs? Your answer is DotA League!

Well, I don't know how you are thinking of Single Instant Game System but I think that DotA League is worse than public games. There are a lot of noobs who are playing DotA League, too many. Your opinions please.

Sure there are some "noobs" here and there, ofc there is, nothing to do about it, before you've noticed them!!
Ok, the "noobs", if they flame, they often get pp's you know, and well, if they do something really bad they can get banned, and they're back to public... So Dota League > Public ... In public the "noobs" can just continue with new accounts and such things... Here they get stopped after their flaming or whatever they did.

Now, there is just one thing left I have to say, we've all been "noobs", like we are "pro" now we have to accept the ones that are "noob" now. They gotta have a chance aswell, some "noobs" enter dota league and in some matches they transfer themselves to "pro" because in here there are people who help, not public players that doesn't help the new ones...

Just my opinion :P

I think the problem of public player is not that they are so bad players. In public people often choose heros who can beat people in 1on1. There are only some team heros.
But dont forget about the fact that in public everyone leaves who dont like so continue the game. In dota league there might be some noobs, but nearly every game is without any leavers.

i think the problem is that everyone can create account in dota league. if there are some qualifications first (show some basic teamplay skills nothing more) things will be better.

Games without leavers = priceless.

Noobs in public games leave. In DL they cant which only make them look even worser than in publics.
I accept that. But I have an other opinion.

My (stolen) ideas to make SIG better

As i heared first time about league and saw that "dota can be else" it was like a miracle. Neverever public again

Not everyone is good of course, but the average is certainly higher than with pubs. Most people (me certainly anyway) are noobs if you compare them with with the top clans, sure, but not if compare them with pubs, dota-league has higher skill than pubs. (And slightly higher than most Allstars channel games.)

some test before being able to create an account on dotaleague.com??? and who will have to do all the work with that? 10 new admins? and dont u think everyone can have a bad day, or also need to learn more and more? mb the better player should help the none good ones. But where i can agree is, when u want to help them, and they start flaming , thats making me saaad ;( i dont think there are too many "noobs" here. They just can get better:) And SIG is always better then public in my opinion Oo

Hello just my little opinion,

I think that this SIG is a very nice system, and i'm playing myself from time to time (actually i'm pretty new here).
But some of the things I've noticed is that many of the "pro" players who thinks they are unbelieveable good at this actually are the ones that flames the most.>Bad behavior. And that results in> new players getting frustrated and starts to panic.
So my experience tells me that, everyone can create a account here and play SIG. >DotA-League is not for the ultimate skilled players - everybody can play.
Note: (this of course depends on the position you've in DL) - My opinions goes for the SIG's here.
Of course some of these problems were allready fixed for example, if you leave or trashtalk you will get penalty points which in the end will result in a "ban" from this community. But, the standard for where it goes from talking > trashtalking is very high and this is something I've noticed when I played(my own experience). People are not really aware of that they should warn or comment it so they can be punished.

Those people who made this community to what it is today started at>b.net out as noobs. This goes for any DotA gamer. 8)

My little 2 cent,

well

Well if you count yourself to the so called "elite Gaming crew of Dota" Then you just have to get past 1200 points 60% win and under 6% disconnects, then you may play VIP games where the quality is far beyond that of normal

I generally like it when new players dont listen to experienced ones and do some insane builds x.X
Anyway dl is still better than pub , and I have some sick satisfaction by getting + 5 for each win : > >
Sadly , vip status is out of my reach , cause of 6% leave barrier. 6%x = 20 = > x=333 . . . . .

I have started playing VIP recently and well to be honest i am disappointed. The boiling point was a "earth shaker", who made boots+2 bracers+euls instead of going arcane and dagger. When he was asked "why?" he said that he simply had no money for dagger and that dagger is useless without mana. When he was told that he can farm lane with fissure etc with arcane ring unlimited mana he was "to start with arcane and suck in late game? no thx". As the result the dude was feeding non-stop since he was a free kill for enemies with a lot of stun/disables in the end he was something like 2-17 and each time he was told to buy dagger he was like "give me money first". The sad thing is that this dude was even unable to understand that he lacks money due to endless dying. The guy had around 1700points or so. The game was -rd so he has picked the hero...

One of the biggest difference a VIP game has between normal sig, is that peoples Ego is at least 2 as high, they consider themselves really good when in fact they aint. Every suggestion or a tip is taken with "lol don't teach me how to play my hero, mind your business". So to me it is harder to win a VIP match, but not because of higher competition, but because it is harder or me to communicate within a team, almost every "mr.pro wanna be" is a simple farmer. Whos skill is a speed farming for items, he considers generally good for certain hero. Without taking into concidiration current unique situation and needs of team. For Example: a lane getting owned but person still stays wood and doesnt give a shit. Backing himself with thoughts "as long as it is not me who has bad kill/death ratio and as long as I have high level and good items it is not my fault that we lose, I will simply report this "feeder"(usually, a guy who was left alone on lane and getting owned by 2 stunners/nukers) and he will get his VIP revoked."

So in fact many public games can be far more interesting and have higher skill players in there. But on the other hand there are still some very exciting moments that I have experienced in DotA League SIG and especially in some VIP games. The sad part is that they are more as an exception now. An avarege VIP game is usually a bunch "i am better than rest" players, with hardcore flaming on one hand and lack of skills on the other hand. Reading a "flame novel" after someone didn't say "miss", is simply amusing... if you consider yourself good, you should be as well able to see 5 red dots on the minimap or take care if you dont see them all.

yeah one more little thing, the REAL advantage of SIG and DotA League is games without leavers, as long as there are leavers in Pubs, DL will be more attractive

Indeed there is some noobs on dl, but that doesn't mean there isn't any pros, yesterday I played a 100 min game, that was MyM pride worth, and it wasn't VIP ;) but indeed some noobs between..
Gg MyM 1-2 VP mym played best 1st game, VP best 2nd game, gg sven!

This day my ban dissapear: 07.12.09

Which means days left: A lot...

u are right the skill level is sometimes under a pubby game...

but at least u can play without leavers.

and one of the easiest strategy's in sig games is just farming 24/7. with every hero.
the games where 5 ppl come together what actually know what they do are very rare...

so games lasts at least 60 minutes, and so the farming was excellent. start to own with uber-items now...

100% Real picture of S.I.G.s

The said part of that story is that u MUST play like that in order to have big Win% :(
Now, if u take that into consideration, it is very clear why there are so many farmers in VIP...
(BTW, farming is much harder against better players, or when all are farming, so u can all easily guess why farmers are bad in VIP)
